Wrecked! Jet Boat Racing Nightmare…( Part 2)

www.ravenracingvideo.com The recovery of how 12 guys got a sunken race boat back from the Salmon River in Riggins Idaho that had sunk earlier during the racing event, It was perched on a ledge above a 60 foot hole in the river. Highway 95 Idaho's only north to south highway was temporaily closed to allow a tow truck to lower cables from off the bridge. It took 2 boats,1 Tow Truck, and 12 men to get the boat back onto the trailer safely. During the second leg of the Idaho Salmon Cup #16 (Wocket) did a barrel roll in some of the worst whitewater possible on the race course,the rapid is called TIME ZONE.     They lived….
    they arelucky they go the boat back …that streatch of river is bad that time of year….it could have been broken apart on the rock bottom.

    @jvossbrink All you have to do is re build it, get the water, mud, etc… out of the cylinders and other parts

    Thanks for posting this. I always wondered how they got that bad boy out of the river after seeing the first video a few times around the net.
