Tips for playing Word Slinger
1. The object of Word Slinger is to
fill in the grid with a certain number of words from the list of words given to
you. Although this is similar to crosswords the advantage is you don't have to
be a great speller or guess at words
2. Start with the free space to put any word from the list. Try to use a longer word for this first word as you will be building other words off this starter word.
3. Each level requires you to add more words. If you get stuck you can use the hints given in each level. You get three free hints and if you don't use them they will carry over to the next level. Try to save them until you really get stuck. This will help to get to higher levels in Word Slinger.
4. Another tip for Word Slinger is if you are stuck and cannot find a word to fill into the grid use your free discards. Each level starts with 3 free discards. You can discard a word from the list and a new word will appear at the bottom of the list. Perhaps this new word is one you can use.
5. Use words from the list that either start or end with the letter s. You can add these s words to words already on the grid to form plurals as well as adding a new word to the grid.
6. Take smaller words on the list such as "one" to make longer words with available letters. For example add "one" to an available "t" to make the new word "tone".
7. Word Slinger also lets you skip levels or go back to easier levels. That's a nice feature.
