When Eric and Bob came to visit and fly with us, we talked Eric into putting lights on his boat and race it around the pond. He was game and here are the results. Jack Goes Boating is a tale of love, betrayal, friendship and grace centered around two working-class New York City couples, which Variety describes as The film stars John Ortiz (American Gangster), Daphne Rubin-Vega (Broadway's "Rent"), Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone) and Philip Seymour Hoffman (Capote), with Hoffman making his feature directorial debut. Bob Glaudini ("A View From 151st Street") adapted his acclaimed Off Broadway play for the screen. Essentially, Jack (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and Connie (Amy Ryan) are two single people who on their own might continue to recede into the anonymous background of the city, but in each other begin to find the courage and desire to pursue their budding relationship. In contrast, the couple that introduced them, Clyde (John Ortiz) and Lucy (Daphne Rubin-Vega), are confronting unresolved issues in their marriage. Jack is a limo driver with vague dreams of landing a job with the MTA and an obsession with reggae that has prompted him to begin a half-hearted attempt at growing dreadlocks. He spends most of his time hanging out with his best friend and fellow driver Clyde and Clyde's wife Lucy. The couple set Jack up with Connie, Lucy's co-worker at a Brooklyn funeral home. 80 mph winner ski boat,Very Fast race boat

This is a winner ski boat that Mike Ivy at Ivy's Marine, in Flowood Mississippi, completely rebuilt. He put a 2.5 Mercury race engine on it. As you can see it is not only Fast but very stable.

Wrecked! Jet Boat Racing Nightmare…( Part 2)

www.ravenracingvideo.com The recovery of how 12 guys got a sunken race boat back from the Salmon River in Riggins Idaho that had sunk earlier during the racing event, It was perched on a ledge above a 60 foot hole in the river. Highway 95 Idaho's only north to south highway was temporaily closed to allow a tow truck to lower cables from off the bridge. It took 2 boats,1 Tow Truck, and 12 men to get the boat back onto the trailer safely. During the second leg of the Idaho Salmon Cup #16 (Wocket) did a barrel roll in some of the worst whitewater possible on the race course,the rapid is called TIME ZONE. Weedwhacker Boat

1st test run of the weedwhacker boat. It leaked alot and the engine was having a hard time, but we got it to work. Definitely needs some work. UPDATE: The boat sank a few weeks after this video about 2 miles downstream due to a large load and alot of leaks. As captain of the vessel I stood inside as it sank into the river, while my friends stood on the dry shore and laughed at my misfortune. Additionally, here are some answers to some common questions/comments: -why did you use particle board? While we know particle board is certainly not the best choice for boating materials, it was also the cheapest and lightest material at the hardware store, making it perfect for our budget summer project. Additionally believe it or not the wood worked quite well with the addition of our waterproof sealer, and was a decision I would make again in a heartbeat. -why couldn't you get the motor started? Are you stupid or something? Ok lets get a few things straight: First off the engine was a 28CC 2 stroke diaphragm carb engine that had been sitting in a garage WITH gas in the carburetor for at least three years. When we got the engine I had to essentially rebuild the carb because the gas had varnished so badly. Not less than five minutes after I had finished on the engine did we decide to take the boat out. This said I had very little time to adjust high and low speed mixture screws, hence the inability to start the engine before we dock it the first time. YES I do know what a choke and ...
