Description: I has this O Day Daysaler detailed a couple of years ago. It has a spinnaker, reach pole, and good sail bag. Sail nunber is 1680 the hull is #9923 and boat # is CF2734CU. The Calif. registration is paid for 2008. Deck is white, hull is light blue. The trailer looks good and is in good shape. Trailer has the larger wheels with water proof grease hubs.

My First Boat

I am interested in getting a boat and having it near the Ft. Myers area. I would like this boat to be able to make it to Key West and be able to handle some seas. It doesn’t have to be super fast just economical. I guess I am wondering what type of boat should I get such as a trauller or a sport fisherman and how many feet is the best. Should it be gas or a diesel. Please keep in mind that this is a first boat it doesn’t have to be in absolute pristine condition. I am pretty handy and can upgrade interior, electronics, and powerplant. I am what you like to call a “weekend warrior” in fact I prefer it. I am looking to spend around 20,000 to 40,000 maybe more it depends. So an older boat is probably what I am looking for but it has to have a good hull. If anyone knows anything that would help me out I would appreciate it.

This award for the 2007 program year is based on results of the association’s sixth study of customer satisfaction among boat and boat engine owners. Just Launched for 2007 Liberty Yachts 45 Flybridge

The most distinguishing characteristic is simply the way in which she is laid out. Rather than the usual saloon-above-the-engine-room scenario, the Liberty 45 (like the 42) is reminiscent of the classic Bertram 31; forward of the cockpit there’s a motorbox on either side, with a walkway between that leads to the saloon. This arrangement means the saloon sole is at nearly the same level as the cockpit (it’s actually one step down from the cockpit to the saloon), giving the boat a lower profile, a correspondingly lower center of gravity, and better stability.
