My Mini Cruiser Boat

For sale is my 15 handcrafted mini cruiser. This is a beautiful wooden boat that gets many compliments both in and out of the water. About the boat: I believe that this boat was constructed from plans by Glen-l for their model called the Cruisette. https://www.boatdesigns.com/products.asp?dept=391 This boat was hand built about 20 years ago but had never seen the water. About 5 years ago I came upon this boat where it was stored in a dry location, and was mostly complete. There is no rot in this boat and it was handcrafted with care. The boat needed to be completed and refinished. I refinished this boat to maintain its classic looks, including providing classic outboard power. Its a great little mini cruiser with a cabin that could sleep two. The hull was repainted with bright white marine enamel. All mahogany wood was stripped and refinished. Top surfaces were also repainted in bright white marine enamel and dark cherry marine enamel. Wiring, steering controls and outboard power were also completed. The ignition was completed with a simple push to choke, push to start ignition, with a hidden kill switch. There is no key needed. Steering was competed with a wooden wheel and an up to date, morse single cable steering system. The boat has only seen the water 3 times in the last 4 years! About the Motor: To provide the vintage power this boat needed it is powered by a 1957 Evinrude Lark. After much searching I found and purchased this motor. The motor was stored in a warehouse with a repair tag on it and covered in a layer of dust. It looks as though it was dropped off for servicing many years ago and there it sat, never picked up. The water pump impeller was replaced and minor repairs were made to the leg and this engine is in top shape. The engine and leg were repainted in factory code paint. The motor had already been updated with a single fuel line system and fuel pump to replace the pressure tank system that this engine originally had. The engine pushes the boat along nicely. About the Trailer: The trailer is a brand new 2008 Karavan KBE-1250 Galvanized trailer. This trailer has only been in the water once. Condition: The boat is in excellent overall condition. I’ve taken many photos of the boat to represent it as accurately as possible. The motor is in excellent overall condition. There is a crack on the cover at the front of the motor that covers the pull start and carb tuning controls. You can see this in the pictures. The remote shift lever needs a slight adjustment to remotely shift into reverse. The engine works in forward and neutral. You just have to give the shift lever a little push at the engine and reverse engages fine. The trailer is brand new and needs nothing. Ive taken many pictures of this boat to represent it as best I can. Ive also included a link to youtube where you can see the boat in action. If you have any questions please email!
