If you address a note to your steward by name in care of the ship and send it to the corporate offices of the cruise line, they will get it to the steward. Even more effective and appreciated, send your thanks via e-mail to the corporate office, naming the steward, your cabin number, ship, and date of sailing. They will be very pleased to see something nice about one of their employees and pass it on to the steward’s supervisor and the steward.
